MEPCAM TRAINEE GOES INTO A PARTNERSHIP BUSINESS

Ngala Roger is an unemployed graduate with a strong passion for technology and digital marketing.
Before the ongoing Transformed Livelihood intervention, he has been learning website building and website management, developing of applications and training others on gaining computer skills.
He has been doing this without any clear plan on what the future holds for him. However, through his time with MEPCAM and as a result of his commitment, Roger got an opportunity to go into a partnership with his on-the-job trainer.

He has been able to bring together the resources gathered from the fundraising event to partner with his trainer into operating a set of businesses ranging from installation of security cameras, development and management of websites, development and installation of billboards, Car Tracking, partnership with entrepreneurs and some higher institutes to train interns and advertise their institutions and business through their website.

Roger is confident that this business will grow into solving pertinent international and societal problems.

“I used to think that having a good business idea already makes a person a successful entrepreneur but until I met MEPCAM, I did not know the importance of some pertinent features of an entrepreneur like; passion, being hardworking, and to have a clear vision of this business. And with all these which I learned from MEPCAM, I believe my business will grow to impact my life and society at large” Roger said.
