MEPCAM GROOMS YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

After administering and analyzing the baseline survey, the need for enterprise development training as a means of changing a wrong mindset that in the people was an urgent necessity; a mindset that consider that money is the first thing that they need to start a business. Since many considered money not just as the first thing which they need to start a business but also as a problem, MEPCAM organized a training focused on “introduction to Entrepreneurship” and “The Entrepreneur” which was aimed at challenging project participants to understanding what entrepreneurship is all about and encouraging them to develop themselves into committed missional entrepreneurs who will grow to impact their families first and community at large.

The training that took place at the training center was carried out by means of workshops, followed by power point presentations. At the end, feedback forms were filled by participants which revealed how they were greatly challenged and motivated to work on identifying business opportunities from within their community and thinking on how to provide a profit generating solution to it. They also shared their business ideas/interest and how they intend to develop them into full-fledged projects that will yield profit for them.
